Each length is converted to metres before the three dimensions are multiplied. This prevents a centimetre factor from being applied only once to a cubic result.

A rectangular result is a planning boundary—not the object itself.

For an irregular wrapped item, measure the furthest outer points. The result estimates its bounding cuboid; it cannot confirm handling clearance, container fit or acceptance.

CBM alone does not prove geometric fit.
